Employability - Brief
a. Constructive approach of learning:
The pedagogy that we use is based on the constructive approach of learning. One of our primary aims is to keep exploring the market to look for new & upcoming self-employment and wage-employment opportunities. Understanding these present and potential opportunities present enables us to define the skills a job seeking youth needs. We reach out to 16-25 year olds and equip them with these 'marketable skills' by following a standardised yet customised learning plan for individual learners. The learning is based on established vocational education frameworks and occupational standards… and beyond.
Softer aspects which are required for the youth to deliver a successful career for themselves are aspects- related to entrepreneurship, customer service, language skills, leadership and building & managing team.
b. Dynamic and continuous approach :
Learning does not end with the certification as we help the students with the last-mile connect with various corporates for wage employment and with various governmental and social funding agencies for self-employment opportunities.
We believe in a dynamic and continuous approach as opposed to a static one-off training approach that most pedagogical agencies employ. The mentoring and counselling continues for students as they continue to come back as & when they come across challenges.
b.Newer Skills, Newer opportunities :
The idea is to establish a continuous engagement with the learner, and continue to open up opportunities to add value to the youth so that with the new skills newer opportunities of growth open up, thereby impacting their earnings and hence improving lives.
